Casting Resins That Will Really Take A Beating

Smooth-Cast™
45D, 60D & 61D are new low viscosity semi-rigid urethane plastics
that are mixed 1A:1B by volume (no scale required), have a pot
life of about 3 minutes and a demold time of about 20 minutes
(both, depending on mass). Cured shore hardnesses are 45D and
60D. Smooth-Cast™
61D is a slower version of 60D.

Plastics Will Take A Beating - Cured castings will
exhibit exceptional impact resistance (throw a piece against
concrete or hit it with a hammer and it will not break).

60D exhibits less flexibility. |

SC-45D, 60D & 61D are amber color (neutral - no color added) and
are easily pigmented with SO-Strong™ color tints. Smooth-Cast™
45D, 60D & 61D are less expensive than other semi-rigid plastics and
can be used for casting a variety of tough parts or patterns,
drop-hammer impact mats, tools, etc.
