Sil-Poxy™ Silicone Rubber Adhesive

Silicone rubber does not stick to many surfaces, which is why silicone rubber is preferred by so many for a variety of casting applications.  Silicone will stick to silicone, but ensuring a permanent bond is never guaranteed.

We hear with increasing frequency from customers looking to bond
silicone rubber to itself and other substrates which is why we are introducing Sil-Poxy™. 

Sil-Poxy™ is a one-component adhesive that can be used with either Mold Max™ (tin) or Smooth-Sil™ (platinum) silicones. It is easy to apply, has a working time of about 5 minutes and bonded parts can be handled in less than an hour.

We’ve had customers use Sil-Poxy™ with great success for repairing torn silicone molds as well as a variety of prosthetics and animatronics applications.

As with any adhesive, a small test should be done to determine effectiveness for a specific application.
