It's Official - Matrix™
NEO™
Is Now
Recognized As Flame Rated By U.L.
We introduced
Matrix™ NEO™
polymer based gypsum last year, not just as an extension of the Matrix line, but as an entirely new casting medium. NEO has taken away the “intimidation factor” associated with other polymer modified gypsum products and is being used for applications ranging from reproducing sculpture to making architectural elements to being used in Las Vegas to create theme elements.
What’s So Special About NEO?
• Convenient To Use: 2A:1B By Volume Mix Ratio - No Scale Necessary.
• Cheaper Than Resins.
• Non-toxic & No Odor.
• Can Be Cast Solid.
• Can Be Hand Laid In Thin Sections Using Matrix Glass Fiber
For "Hit It With A Hammer" Strength (see “Matrix Glass”, below).
• Water Resistant - Castings Are Suitable For Outdoor Display (Sealing Required).
• Color With Pigments Or Paint Castings Out Of The Mold.
• Can Be Filled To Create Marble, Granite Or Other Effects.
• Cold Cast Metal Elements Are Possible.

Matrix™
NEO™
is now UL Recognized. NEO™
recently passed Underwriter Laboratory's final flame test and was officially recognized by UL as a flame rated product. The UL certification is the highest flame rating
certification obtainable in the US and Canada, and is generally accepted around the world as
satisfying all certification requirements.
Public architectural elements, theatre sets, amusement park / theme elements and many other applications require the use of flame rated products to satisfy local building codes. |
