Ecoflex™ 00-10 is a supersoft Shore 00-10A platinum silicone. It is mixed 1A:1B by volume and cures in 4 hours (cure time can be reduced with mild heat). Cured rubber is very soft, very strong and very "stretchy", stretching many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion. There are not many platinum silicones on the market that are this soft. What sets this supersoft rubber apart from all the rest is that Ecoflex™ cures a tacky surface, which many special effects and orthotic/orthopedic practitioners consider to be an advantage.

Silicones this soft, however, will exude an inert fluid that does not affect human skin. It is therefore suitable for applications calling for skin contact. So, our Ecoflex™ line currently consists of: Ecoflex™ 5, Ecoflex™ 00-30 and Ecoflex™ 00-10.
