Smooth-On flexible foams are used for a variety of applications including making custom orthotics, custom motorcycle, bicycle and wheel chair seat fabrication, custom neck restraints required for all NASCAR drivers, halloween masks, special effects and many more too numerous to mention.

FlexFoam-iT™ 25 is mixed 1A:2B by weight (gram scale recommended) and has a pot life of about 50 seconds at room temperature. Foam can be handled after 30 minutes and fully cures in about two hours. This foam expands only about 2 times its original volume and, once cured, has a higher density than our other flexible foams (25 lbs./ft³ or 400 kg/meter³).

What’s Different About This Foam? There are a number of flexible foams on the market being sold as “self-skinning” when in fact they are opened celled. The FF25 is a true self skinning foam that will pick up and reflect fine detail from a mold. The surface finish is much smoother and can also be used in conjunction with our other foams.

FlexFoam-iT™ 25 is also very strong (high tear strength) and durable - good for cushioning applications, for making props that are subjected to torque and other physical forces, etc. Like our other foams, this product is easily pigmented with SO-Strong color tints.
